Verily Storyworks Launches “Stock Market for Stories” with THORPE — Fans Can Now Invest in Entertainment

Dallas, TX — November 6, 2025 — Verily Storyworks has launched its first campaign under a bold new idea: a “Stock Market for Stories.” The initiative begins with THORPE, a powerful historical drama about Native American athlete Jim Thorpe. It’s the first entertainment project where fans can invest directly and co-own the story.

A Marketplace Where Fans Become Stakeholders

Verily’s new model blends storytelling with public investment. It turns true stories into shared opportunities for fans, creators, and investors. Through Republic, a top investment platform, people can now invest in THORPE and become part of the creative process.

The first round opened on November 5, with a funding goal of $850,000. Early backers get exclusive rewards, behind-the-scenes access, and perks listed on the official campaign page.

“We’re not just producing entertainment — we’re creating a movement,” said Barry Capece, CEO of Verily Storyworks. “Fans deserve the chance to own stories that shape culture. Verily was built for that purpose.”

How Verily’s Model Works

Verily discovers real stories from around the world and transforms them into production-ready projects for film and TV. It also invites fans to invest early and become “capital ambassadors.” This unique approach gives audiences the power to choose what stories reach the screen.

By opening the process, Verily bridges the gap between creators and audiences — building fan-powered franchises rooted in authenticity and shared ownership.

THORPE — Verily’s Debut Campaign

THORPE tells the inspiring life story of Jim Thorpe, the Native American athlete often called the greatest of all time. The multi-season series follows his journey from humble beginnings to worldwide fame as an Olympic gold medalist and professional in football, baseball, and basketball.

Spanning five decades — from the 1880s to the 1950s — the show captures Thorpe’s rise amid prejudice and adversity. It’s also the only project about Jim Thorpe fully supported and endorsed by his family.

“Our family is proud to see Grandpa’s story told with care and respect,” said John Thorpe, Jim Thorpe’s grandson. “This project honors his legacy and keeps his spirit alive.”

A Legacy of Grit and Greatness

THORPE goes beyond sports. It’s a story about identity, resilience, and triumph in the face of injustice. The show features real-life figures such as Pop Warner, Dwight Eisenhower, Teddy Roosevelt, Grantland Rice, George Halas, and John McGraw — offering a sweeping portrait of early 20th-century America.

“Jim Thorpe was the world’s first real-life superhero,” added Capece. “His story is one of heart and humanity. It perfectly reflects Verily’s mission — turning truth into legacy.”

Join the Story — Invest in THORPE

Verily’s debut marks a new chapter in entertainment. The “Stock Market for Stories” allows fans to move from audience to ownership. It’s storytelling powered by the people who care most about it.
